N. Shankar is an Indian Film Director, known for his tremendous works in Telugu Film Industry. He is a well renowned Telugu Film Director who has proven as a creative director and has made numerous remarkable Movies with heartening humanistic standards. He is well-thought-out as one of the most creative directors with a great taste for music and has more than one and half decade’s expertise in Telugu movie industry. Most of his movies had won several State, National and Private Awards, Film Fare Awards, A.P. Cinegoer's Association Annual Awards, Bharatamuni Awards etc. He has directed numerous blockbuster Movies like Jayam Manadera, Bhadrachalam, Sree Ramulayya, and Jai Bholo Telangana in Telugu language. With great years of experience in Tollywood, he strongly feels that the artists from Telangana region in specific lack proper representation in Telugu film industry. Henceforth, he directed and produced Jai Bholo Telangana (2011), exceptional awareness with the Telangana Movement as the backdrop which gained him film accolades and also Best Director award from State.

His movie Jai Bholo Telangana (2011) is renowned as a powerful tool that backed significantly to the separate Telangana movement. The movie's reach and impact of its songs and representation touched many hearts through the state. The film attested to be an inspirational point for several students and their mothers. This movie will be remembered as one of the highest torch bearer of the Telangana movements. N. Shankar hails from a normal middle class family belonging to backward caste in Nalgonda district of Telangana state. He is a fervent young man with active student political life allied with student movements as a learner. With the impact of actor Dr. M. Prabhakar Reddy, N. Shankar selected to come in to film industry. He started his career as an assistant director and rapidly rose to be the most sought after co-director. From topmost directors like A. Kodandaramireddy to Super star Krishna trusted him with their movies. Apart from being a man with philosophical background, he also became most dedicated worker in a short span of time.
