BHADRACHALAM

Bhadrachalam is a Telugu action, sports film, which was directed by N. Shankar in the year 2001. This film features Srihari, Sindhu Menon in the lead roles.
The movie is about Bhadrachalam (Srihari), coming from a village, who gains an international boxing championship.
Bhadrachalam, youngest of three brothers, is continually heckled by his sisters-in-law for his greedy appetite. In a usual village game, of running with a paddy bag on the backbone, the hero wins. Yet, it is a shame to watch the bags vacillating on the backs of the contestants as they run.
Mahalakshmi (Sindu) comes to at the village to sell one property to get money for her father Parasuram's (Vijaychander) heart operation. Parasuram, an expert in martial arts, owns a coaching centre in 'Taekwondo'. Suraj (Gazan Khan), his main disciple, proves thankless after he wins an international championship and even beats the old man.
Parasuram, who is in hunt of one more young man, finds in Bhadrachalam a trustworthy and reliable disciple. Yet the hero hesitates to move out of the village firstly, he does so with the (fiscal and moral) help of his niece and other inhabitants.
The second part of the movie is devoted to the contest. In amid, there are scenes screening Bhadrachalam going into bad company of Achibabu and Buchibabu (Kota Srinivasa Rao) who try to abuse the goodness and muscle power of Bhadrachalm, for exaction. A well-trained Bhadrachalam is sent to Thailand for the championship. Suraj does not like the notion at first but later helps Bhadrachalam, when the nation's honor is at stake.
